Country Garden Flowers was set up and is run
by Sue Rotheram.

Having graduated from Merrist Wood Agricultural
College as a flower arranger Sue found that she
had a wider appreciation of flowers from both
a historical perspective, as well as a practical
application with regard to interior design.

Upon leaving Merrist Wood, Sue gained a
further qualification in floristry and taught flower
arranging for two years before opening her own
shop, Country Garden Flowers, in Fleet, Hampshire,
in 1992. Her shop developed into a successful
small business employing six other members of
staff before moving to The Garden Studio.

As well as still running the business she teaches
young florists at Sparsholt College in Winchester.
